In order to properly inform and to further avoid possible concerns of our clients, we want to inform all clients that Banka Ekonomike has been the target of a cyber-attack, where as a result a certain number of systems have been infected with a virus and we have isolated the problem in time, by ensuring the executionof the highest security measures in this regard.
Banka Ekonomike, immediately after the incident occurred, has taken all the necessary legal steps by notifying all the competent institutions and which are investigating the case.
Banka Ekonomike assures all of its clients that all accounts and assets of our clients, as well as their data are secure, as this attack is related to the information leak related to the field of customer privacy.
Banka Ekonomike once again apologizes to all clients for any concerns they may have had, but we would like to emphasize once again that there is no room for concern regarding their assets in Banka Ekonomike as they are safe.
Finally, we want to inform everyone that the publication of personal information in an unauthorized manner constitutes a criminal offense, therefore we request that the dissemination of this information be stopped immediately.
